Deuteronomy 13:11 ASV

And all Israel shall hear, and fear, and shall do not more any such wickedness as this is in the midst of thee.

Deuteronomy 17:13 ASV

And all the people shall hear, and fear, and do no more presumptuously.

Deuteronomy 19:20 ASV

And those that remain shall hear, and fear, and shall henceforth commit no more any such evil in the midst of thee.

Deuteronomy 21:21 ASV

And all the men of his city shall stone him to death with stones: so shalt thou put away the evil from the midst of thee; and all Israel shall hear, and fear.

Are you serious when you pair the death penalty with keeping the Torah?
There is no precedence in the Bible that God intended to export His government overseas and to enforce His civil judgments

As it written, Israel was to hear about the harshness of the penalty and, consequently, fear Jesus to avoid being killed. As we realize, the Israelites did not care and they did not obey. Threats of death do not make men repent to become holy. Not even miracles!
