Acts 24:14-15 ASV
(14) But this I confess unto thee, that after 'THE WAY' which they call a 'SECT', so serve I the God of our fathers, believing all things which are according to the law, and which are written in the prophets;
(15) having hope toward God, which these also themselves look for, that there shall be a resurrection both of the just and unjust.
WHAT IS THE LAW IN THE BIBLE?
LAW IS ENGLISH FOR HEBREW TORAH(INSTRUCTION)
All the languages in the Bible must understand the concept of Law form its Hebrew meaning that is 'instruction', or a 'recipe' so to speak.
Once we understand the meaning of the word from the Hebrew, we should no longer speak about 'the law is abolished' in order to not keep the sabbath Day of Jesus, to eat pork, to not be holy, et cetera.
Moses, before he died, left his body of writings that he called 'Torah'. Does anyone make sense when they say that they are no longer under the law or that the law is abolished? Knowing what law means now, those who claim the abolition of the law to not keep the sabbath or to eat pork are in fact calling for destroying the word of Jesus that He gave to Moses! When you would point that out to them, they will certainly say that they do not mean that. Of course, because they are just the medium for Satan just as Jesus uses others to witness Him to the world (Acts 1:8).
We, who speak of Jesus, speak from either of two spirits, according to 1 John 4: either from Jesus of from Satan.
